The Vicksburg High School band performs during the Red Carpet Bowl Friday at Warren Central’s Viking Stadium. Brandon High School defeated Vicksburg, 47-14, in the first game. Pearl beat Warren Central, 41-6, in the second game of the season-opening doubleheader. The Red Carpet Bowl, the longest running bowl game in Mississippi, was first played in 1962.
