Terry, Humes are wed at St. Mary’s Catholic

Reginald Terry of Sylvester, Ga., and Stacy Humes of Vicksburg were married at 1 p.m. July 9, 2011, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Malcolm O’Leary S.V.D. officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Willie and Mary Humes of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Carrie Brinkley and the late Samuel Brinkley Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Early King Sr., all of Fayette.
The groom is the son of Johnny Lee and Marie Terry of Sylvester. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown of Summer, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Terry of Ashburn, Ga.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were champagne and cornflower. A program of nuptial music was presented by organist Shirley Harris and soloists Cynthia Sims, Kevin Winters and Eric Hall.
Maid of honor was Sharon Humes, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mashalia Green, Alethea Harper, Monica Lawrence, Brittany Longino, Tomeka Terry and Cortney Underwood.
Ron Terry served as best man. Groomsmen were Lawrence Brown, Jaworski Davenport, Frederick Lane, Thaddeus Lewis and Leon Steele.
Katherine Shelton served as usher. Candlelighters/ushers were Samuel Brinkley III and David Jordan.
Flower girl was Kaitlyn Terry. Bryan Jordan served as ring bearer.
A reception followed at St. Mary’s Center. Guests were entertained with music by DJ Flash Eric Hall.
The couple will make their home in Hinesville, Ga. The bride and groom are both engineers with the Savannah District.
