Services for Bennie “Mann” Williams Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas E. Ray Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams died Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. He was 48.

He was born in Vicksburg and attended Chicago public schools. He was a member of Greater Mount Lebanon M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Williams Sr.; his sister, Lisa Ann Williams; paternal grandparents, Ed and Emma Williams; and maternal grandparents, Mattie Lee Hunt and Frank Jones.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Jones Williams of Vicksburg; his son, Benjamin Williams of Chicago; three brothers, Russell Williams and Troy Williams, both of Vicksburg and Eric Williams of Memphis; aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
