Five sentenced in circuit court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:
• Samuel Craig, 28, 1414-B Greenhill Road, pleaded guilty to non-residential burglary and was sentenced by Circuit Judge M. James Chaney to two years in prison followed by three years of probation, a $500 fine, $500 in restitution and $322.50 in costs, from an arrest Sept. 11. Chaney also found Craig guilty of violating probation from a previous conviction and sentenced him to two years in prison to include extended alcohol and drug treatment, followed by five years of probation, plus $1,322.50 in fines and costs. The sentences are to be served consecutively.
• Marcus Terrell Mack, 26, who gave addresses of 1523-B Rosedown St. and 531 Hugo St., pleaded guilty to domestic violence, third offense, and was sentenced by Chaney to one year and one day in prison followed by three years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine and $322.50 in costs, from an arrest Sept. 14. Chaney also found Mack guilty of violating probation from a previous conviction and sentenced him to two years in prison followed by six years of probation, plus $1,975 in fines and costs. The sentences are to be served consecutively.
• Stanley I. Taylor, 28, 4208 Halls Ferry Road, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Chaney to one year and one day in prison followed by 18 months of probation, plus a $1,000 fine and $622.50 in costs. Taylor was arrested April 28, 2010.
• Cerrick Dell Warren, 30, 1233 Harrison St., was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Circuit Judge Isadore Patrick to the Mississippi Department of Corrections Restitution Center at Hinds, Leflore or Jackson County to pay $1,901 in fines, fees and costs. Warren was arrested April 2, 2004 for sale of cocaine.
In Sharkey County Circuit Court:
• Bobby Joe Powell, 42, 165 Hunt St., Rolling Fork, pleaded guilty aggravated assault and was sentenced by Patrick to 285 days in jail (time served) followed by three years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine and $322.50 in costs. Powell was arrested Sept. 28, 2010.
