DECATUR — Jerris Dewayne Chamblee died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011. He was 44.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Alice Diane Goss.

Survivors include his two sons, Justin Dewayne Chamblee and Hunter Reid Chamblee, both of Butler, Ala.; his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Billy McKnight, both of Decatur; father and stepmother, Jerris and Linda Chamblee, both of Edwards; grandmother, Emma Banks of Union; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Milling Funeral Home in Union with the Revs. Howell Thrash and Jamie Leach officiating. Burial will follow at Pinkney Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Boykin, Darrell Goss, Kenneth Massey, James Waltman, Jim Sanderson and Zack Norton.
