A Vicksburg man was arrested this morning following an investigation into drug complaints in his neighborhood, police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.
Edester Sims, 33, 3214 1/2 Washington St., was arrested at his home about 4:30 after police served a search warrant, Stewart said.
Officers seized about 1 gram of crack cocaine, 1/2 ounce of marijuana and $201, he said. Sims was charged with possession of cocaine. The quantity of marijuana was not enough to trigger a felony charge, Stewart said.
Sims was being held at the police station and was expected to be transferred to the Warren or Issaquena county jail pending the posting of a $10,000 bond.
