Ollie the Safety Otter measures first-grader Morgan Emerson during a presentation on booster seats at Bowmar Elementary. The program, sponsored by Mississippi Safety Services, aims to teach students and parents about the Mississippi law that requires the use of a booster seat for children ages 4 to 7, shorter than 4-foot-9 or fewer than 65 pounds.
