Services for Rosie L. Coleman will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Vicksburg Auditorium with the Rev. Lester Lacey officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Thursday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Coleman died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. She was 60.

She was a member of Rock of Ages M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evangelean Barber; her father, Lewis Gaskin Sr.; a son, Ruthel Martin Jr.; and four brothers, Columbus Palmer Sr., Lewis Gaskin Jr., Charles Gaskin and Larry Crumb.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Coleman of Vicksburg; a daughter, Ruby Jean Gaskin of Aurora, Ill.; two sons, Marvin Tyrone Coleman of Vicksburg and Walter Coleman Jr. of Sioux City, S.D.; seven sisters, Beulah Fultz of Aurora and Ruby Callahan, Ledora Howard, Delores Hubbard, Margaret Segrest, Virginia Gaskin and Willelean Dixon, all of Vicksburg; four brothers, Eugene Palmer of Harvey, Ill., James Walter Gaskin of Aurora, Arthur Roy Gaskin of Vicksburg and Larry Gaskin of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
