Robert M. Farish died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. He was 77.

Born in Vicksburg, he was the son of the late Frank G. Farish and “Dutch” Marney Farish. Mr. Farish was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School in the class of 1952. He served in the Air Force and was employed by Sears for a number of years prior to his retirement. He later was employed by the Isle of Capri until his retirement.

Mr. Farish was a member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Bowmar Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sister, Shirley Ann Farish of Vicksburg; and his best friend, Roger D. Jones of Vicksburg.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date by Riles Funeral Home.
