The cause of an early morning mobile home fire was under investigation today.
A home in the 4900 block of Gibson Road was reported burning about 5:15 a.m. today, said Fisher Ferry Volunteer Fire Department Capt. Brian Bresnahan.
Smoke was rolling out the front door when firefighters arrived, Bresnahan said, but fire damaged only the living room of the home. The rest of the house suffered smoke and water damage, he said.
About 8:30 a.m., firefighters returned to the home because part of the living room had rekindled, he said.
No one was at the house at the time of the fire, and no one was injured, Bresnahan said. The cause of the fire and the value of the damage was unknown this morning.
