Bobby Hugh Foster

BENTONIA — Bobby Hugh Foster died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at his home. He was 77.

Mr. Foster was born in Yazoo County. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George E. Foster and Norna A. Hancock; and his wife, Darlene Foster.

Survivors include two daughters, Bobbie Green of Bentonia and Shelia Warrington of New Braunfels, Texas; two sons, Edward Foster of Flora and Steve Cason of Bentonia; three brothers, Calvin Foster of Ocean Springs and Hilary Foster and Dongieux Foster, both of Bentonia; three sisters, Becky Rainer of Vicksburg, Sharon Ertle of Bentonia and Elaine Goode of Richland; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services were at 11 today at Hebron Baptist Church with the Rev. Luke Edwards officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home of Yazoo City.

Pallbearers were Shannon Davis, Leronde Goode, Cameron O’Daniel, Clint Ertle, Daniel Hendrick and Henry Walters.
