Free tours of the home Confederate Gen. John C. Pemberton used as his headquarters during the 1863 battles and Siege of Vicksburg will be offered Saturday as part of the community’s celebration of Tapestry.

Pemberton’s Headquarters, at 1018 Crawford St., is a part of the Vicksburg National Military Park located outside the park’s primary boundaries.

It will be open to visitors from 3 to 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
