McGehee and Dunaway wed

Gray McGehee and Emily Dunaway were married at 3 p.m. March 3, 2012, at Wilsonwood Lodge. Jeff Crevitt officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Malcolm and Janice Dunaway of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Ellis and Frances Crooks, Julia Gerbish and the late Frank Gerbish and Jessie and Jean Dunaway, all of Vidalia, La., and Jim and Marjorie Allen of Fredrick, Md.

The groom is the son of Clyde and Helen McGehee of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of John and Elsie Buchanan, the late Fred and Marie Grayson and the late Clyde McGehee Jr., all of Vicksburg.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were brown and turquoise. Music for the ceremony was presented by Ben Shaw.

Maid of honor was Erin Dunaway of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth McGehee of Vicksburg and Jessica Piazza of Delhi, La.

Johnny Piazza of Delhi served as best man. Groomsmen were John Miller and Sauyen Bacdayan, both of Beaumont, Texas.

A reception followed at the lodge. For a wedding trip, the couple traveled on a cruise to Key West and the Bahamas.

The couple will make their home in Vicksburg. The bride is employed at Anderson Tully Lumber Company, and the groom is employed with Ergon Refining.
