An occupied vehicle was shot early this morning in Marcus Bottom.
The rear passenger door of a 2004 Saturn was struck with a bullet at 12:43 in the 2700 block of Alma Street, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.
One person was in the car and another was standing near it when three shots were fired, Stewart said. A single bullet hit the car, and no one was injured, he said.
“We have not identified a suspect yet,” Stewart said.
The shooting is the second in eight days in Marcus Bottom, Stewart said. On April 17, two men shot multiple times at a pedestrian near Ethel and Rosedown streets.
No significant description of the men was given.
