Moore and McGloster marry in Port Gibson

Sherman Louis Moore and Michelle Evette McGloster were married at 4 p.m. March 10, 2012, at Moments to Remember in Port Gibson. The Rev. James Jones of Fayette officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gertrude McGloster and Percy McGloster, both of Port Gibson. She is the granddaughter of the late Martha and Eddie Crystain of Port Gibson.

The groom is the son of the late Irene and Oscar Moore Sr. of Port Gibson. He is the grandson of the late Ethel and Johnny Moore of Port Gibson.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were ivory, fuchsia and tangelo.

Maids of honor were Tracy McGloster of Port Gibson and Estell Felton of Fayette. Matron of honor was Kimberly Quinn Hampton of McComb. Bridesmaids were Erica Goldsberry, Jasmine Good and Brittany McGloster, all of Port Gibson.

Ben Davis and DeWayne Thomas, both of Port Gibson, served as best men. Groomsmen were Early Wren, Robert Coleman, Louis Moore and Mackelton Moore, all of Port Gibson.

Usher was Sherman Moore Jr. of Port Gibson.

Flower girl was De’Arrya Goldsberry of Port Gibson. Ring bearers were Jaiden and Jamari McGloster of Port Gibson.

Bible bearer was Sammie Lindsey of Port Gibson.

A reception followed the ceremony. Hostess was Samaya Blake.

The couple will make their home in Port Gibson, where the bride is employed at Fresenius Medical Care.
