Ushers express thanks

for city, county support

On behalf of the Citywide Ushers, I would like to thank Supervisors Charles Selmon and William Banks and North Ward Alderman Michael Mayfield for the honor and donations you gave to our group.

Thank you for all you’ve done for us, including giving flowers. We donate our time, and you saw that we needed a little pat on the back. May God have a blessing for you, an organization that was founded years ago and continues service by the members of the citywide ushers, Patricia Kinnard, Gloria Smith, Peggy Pierce Wells, Mattie Robinson, Estella Durr Lewis, Gertrude Brown, Yaunita Yates, Elizabeth Hill, Tommie Williams, Mary Jackson, Lisa Jones, Elizabeth Tolliver and Joseph McRunnels. We are 13 Christians working for the Lord.
