Jonathan Craig Newton and Angela Marie Jackson, both of Flowood, were married at 11 a.m. May 5, 2012, at Luckett Lodge Chapel in Brandon. Jared Yates officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Terry Jackson of Madison. She is the granddaughter of Betty Jackson and the late Ralph Jackson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Skitch Mitchell, all of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cecil Newton of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Oren DeVaughn Bailess Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Q. Newton, all of Vicksburg.

A reception followed at the lodge. The couple will make their home in Flowood.

The bride is employed with Denmiss LLC, and the groom is employed with RSC Equipment Rental.
