Jay and Debbie Parks announce the engagement of their daughter, Teri Mae, to James E. Nowell Jr. Mr. Nowell is the son of James Sr. and Karyn Nowell and Jeff and Susan Melvin, all of Vicksburg.

Miss Parks is the granddaughter of the late Floyd and Elda Lawson of Elkins, Ark., Madge Lawson of Wesley, Ark., and the late Frank and Dorothy Parks of Illinois.

Mr. Nowell is the grandson of Mary Nowell and the late C.R. Nowell and the late Dalton and Bernice Johnson, all of Vicksburg. He is employed with Parks Mobile Home Repair of Vicksburg.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m. June 23, 2012, at the McNutt House, 815 1st East St. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
