PORT GIBSON — Mark Watts died Monday, June 4, 2012, from injuries received in an automobile accident in Vicksburg. He was 54.
Mr. Watts was employed at Anderson-Tully Co.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Watts; two brothers, Carl Watts and Thomas Watts; and two sisters, Julia Turner and Dorothy M. Watts.
He is survived by his fiancé, Shirley Thomas of Port Gibson; his mother, Kazetta Watts of Red Lick; three sons, Myron Watts of Port Gibson, Adelbert Moore of Jackson and Michael D. Watts of Nashville; one daughter, Kimosh K. Watts of Port Gibson; a stepson, Bobby Thomas of Port Gibson; a stepdaughter, Lamerica Thomas of Clinton; four brothers, Joseph Watts Jr. of Red Lick, the Rev. Chester Watts of Port Gibson, Lionel Watts of Russum and Cleveland Watts of St. Louis; two sisters, Thelma Wilson of St. Louis and Geraldine Wilson of Chicago; four grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Awesome Christ Warrior Church with the Rev. Chester Watts officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
