Miss Meadows to wed Mr. Mathes in Magee

Naomi Carolynn Meadows of Magee and Avery Landon Mathes of Vicksburg will be married at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Goodwater Baptist Church in Magee. A reception will follow at the church. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Miss Meadows is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Meadows Jr. of Magee. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boyd of Clinton and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Meadows Sr. of Magee.
Mr. Mathes is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mathes of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Caldwell and Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Mathes Jr., all of Vicksburg.
The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Magee High School, where she was a member of the Student Council, Beta Club, FCA, FBLA, softball team, Color Guard and band.
She attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College, where she received an associate degree and was a member of the Blue Wave Show Band Colorguard, Ambassadors, Diamond Dolls and choir.
Miss Meadows is pursuing a nursing degree at Hinds Community College.
The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where he was a member of the Gators baseball team, Key Club and band drumline.
He attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College, where he was a member of Wolfpack baseball team, and Louisiana College, where he was a member of the Wildcats baseball team.
Mr. Mathes is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University, where he will graduate in December.
