Gertrude Wilson Huell

Gertrude Wilson Huell died Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Heritage House Nursing Center. She was 99.
Mrs. Huell was a homemaker and member of Travelers Rest M.B. Church, where she was an usher for 54 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Green and Ida Sanders Wilson; her husband, Bennie E. Huell Sr.; two sons, Herbert Harper and Barrington Wilson; and a daughter, Louise Harper Perkins.
She is survived by three sons, Charles Huell of Jackson and Bobby E. Huell and Larence Huell, both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Pearl Huell Harris of Vicksburg and Katie Huell Walls of Mesa, Ariz.; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives, including Sandra Tufts of Los Angeles and Sanford Mitchell of Dallas, Texas.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Travelers Rest M.B. Church with the Rev. Thomas Benard officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
