A Warren County woman faces three counts of prescription fraud after she tried to pass forged prescriptions for the painkiller oxycodone at three pharmacies in Vicksburg, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said. He said Agnes Mercedes Warwick, 40, 111 Fleur de Lis Drive, was arrested Thursday on Halls Ferry Road. She is accused of using a prescription pad taken from a medical center in Jackson to write the prescriptions. He said deputies found several other forged prescriptions for oxycodone in her purse when she was arrested. She was released Friday on $15,000 bond. Pace said none of the prescriptions were filled, adding the crime was committed when Warwick, who is also known as “Amy,” wrote out the prescriptions. He said other charges and arrests might be possible in the case.
