A Vicksburg teen is wanted by police for a Friday afternoon shooting in which shots were fired at a car parked outside Vicksburg High School, Vicksburg police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

He said Mario Mixon, 18, 911 Locust St., is accused in a warrant with seven counts of aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied vehicle. He is accused of shooting at a 2005 Honda Pilot several times with a 9mm pistol as students were trying to get into the SUV at Drummond Street and Stadium Drive at 2:51 p.m. No one was wounded.

Stewart asked that anyone with information about Mixon should call the Vicksburg Police Department at 601-636-2511.
