The Samuel Marshall Gore Galleries at Mississippi College, 199 Monroe St., Clinton, has kicked off the season with an exhibit by artist Stephen D. Cook, which will run through Oct 3. An reception is planned Sept. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. and the collection of works consists of oils, pastels, charcoals and ink drawings.
