Wesley, Harris are married at Travelers Rest

Jackie Lashane Wesley and Jessica Monique Harris were married at 3 p.m. July 14, 2012, at Travelers Rest M.B. Church. The Rev. Michael Wesley officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jessie Lumpkin Jr. and the late Mozella Harris of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Jewel Lumpkin and the late Jessie Lumpkin Sr. of Vicksburg. She is the foster daughter of Pearl Bell and the stepdaughter of Linda Love.
The groom is the son of Hazel Sanders and Odell Wesley of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Queen E. Carpenter, the late Frank Scott, the late Ruby Wesley and the late Thomas L. Wesley, all of Vicksburg.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were royal blue, baby blue, silver and white.
Victor Gilliam presented a program of nuptial music. Vocalists were Kevin Winters and Linda Powell.
Maids of honor were Areola Scott, Sedera Williams, Charlette Richards and Stephanie Lumpkin. Matron of honor was Kimberly Ware Gray.
Bridesmaids were Mary Lumpkin, Gladys Lumpkin, Kretonia Jones, Ashley Lumpkin, Victoria Lumpkin, Amanda Lewis, Tiffany Williams, Cinquantice Lumpkin, Taretha Turner, Denisha Gray and RoKiya Dotson. Junior bridesmaids were Charmane Burden and Ashanti Griffin.
Honorary attendant was Terry Ann Brown.
Odell Wesley, LuDuane Newton and Charlie Griffin served as best men. Groomsmen were Shirray Harris, Abraham Wesley, Bobby Wesley, Clifton Lumpkin, Jermaine Wesley, Jhonthon Wesley, Terrance Sims, Adrian Sanders, Jermaine Wesley, Charles Jones and Patrick Jones.
Ushers were Bobby Lumpkin, Shawn Harris and Justin Harris.
Flower girls were Michaela Evans and Keyasia Evans. Ring bearer was Taveon Lumpkin.
Miniature bride was Na-Kendrya Robertson. Jadarius Lumpkin served as miniature groom.
A reception followed at Vicksburg City Auditorium. Guests were entertained with music by DJ Duncan Smith.
Special assistants were Kimberly Gray, Patricia Terrell, Lula Butler, Breezy Penny and Sophie Clark.
For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to the Bahamas. They will make their home in Vicksburg.
The bride is manager at F&G Financial Services, and the groom owns J&W Construction.
Bachelor party
The groom was honored by his groomsmen with a bachelor party.

Patricia Terrell and Pamela Durman hosted a makeup and facial shower at Hibachi Grill meeting room.
Kim Ware Gray hosted a miscellaneous shower at the McNutt House.
Stephanie Lumpkin and Sedera Williams honored the bride with a miscellaneous shower at El Sombrero.
