Resurrection closed the deficit in the third quarter, as Troy Cobb caught a TD pass to cut the deficit to 14-6.

“We came out really well and we finished at the end, but there was a time in the middle where we let it get a little hairy,” St. Al coach B.J. Smithhart said. “I’m proud of the kids showing some resolve, coming back and getting tough. We had some guys step up in positions they’re not usually accustomed to playing and I thought Josh Price did a really good job for us up front.”

St. Aloysius will play at Stringer next Friday in another Region 4-1A contest.
