CHICAGO — Ruby E. Schwartz died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, in Chicago. She was 78.

A native of Vicksburg, Mrs. Schwartz had lived for many years in Chicago, where she worked in health care.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Bertha Schwartz; and three brothers, Robert Schwartz, Dan Schwartz Jr. and Roosevelt Schwartz.

She is survived by a sister, Annie B. Adams of Vicksburg; four children, Janet L. Schwartz, Venus Schwartz, Eli Schwartz and Candy L. Schwartz, all of Chicago; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Robbins Funeral Home Chapel with family officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
