Shoplifting charges have been tacked on for two men accused of abducting and robbing a 76-year-old Vicksburg man Sept. 18.

Lance Burton, 24, 3700 Gowall Road, and Kodey Goulette, 20, 107 Warren St., were each charged with an additional count of felony shoplifting at 5:22 p.m. Monday, police Capt. Bobby Stewart said.

The two are accused of stealing a 55-inch Samsung television valued at $1,098 Sept. 16 from Walmart, 2150 Iowa Blvd., Stewart said. Surveillance video of the theft was discovered during the investigation into the robbery and kidnapping during which the man was taken from the parking lot between Rainbow Casino and AmeriHost Inn, both in the 1300 block of Warrenton Road, and forced at gunpoint into Walmart, Stewart said.
