Absentee ballots for the Nov. 6 general election may be cast in Circuit Clerk Shelly Ashley-Palmertree’s office the next two Saturdays.
In addition to the 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekday schedule, the office is open until noon Saturday and on Nov. 3 for Warren County voters to request a ballot. In Mississippi, voters not intending to cast a ballot at a precinct on Election Day must cite a reason for voting absentee. Most commonly cited are being out of town, temporary or permanent disabilities or being older than 65.
