Services for Luebertha King will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark M.B. Church with the Rev. Joseph Willis officiating. Burial will be at St. Mark Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 6 p.m. Friday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Mrs. King died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Promise Hospital. She was 85.
She was a homemaker and member of St. Mark M.B. Church, where she was a church mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Cornelia Johnson Butler; her husband, Levi King; a son, Leonard Butler; two brothers, Henry Butler and Jim Butler Jr.; and two sisters, Margaret Wells and Lucille Williams.
She is survived by a daughter, Ola B. Wells of Vicksburg; six sisters, Mattie B. Eatmon, Rose Johnson, Willie Mae Butler, Marcella Butler, Clara Butler and Josephine Ellis, all of Vicksburg; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
