Fresh off a bye week, Alcorn State begins the final stretch of the 2012 season with a road trip to Mississippi Valley State.

First-year Alcorn coach Jay Hopson said his team is refreshed and focused on a strong November finish, which will be capped by the first Magnolia Heritage Classic against Jackson State on Nov. 17 in Lorman.
