Services for Robert Lee Pettis will be at noon Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Kimberly Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Pettis died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his home. He was 70.

Mr. Pettis attended school in Claiborne and Warren counties. He was employed at Anderson-Tully for many years and also at Marathon-LeTourneau where he retired in 2003.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Pettis; his parents, James and Hattie Pettis; three brothers, Frank Dorsey, James Pettis Jr. and Dee Pettis; three sisters, Georgia Neal, Tinnie Little and Selena Williams; and a stepson, Cicero Wilson Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Pettis of Vicksburg; two daughters, Marika Stimage of Vicksburg and Tamargia Pettis of Texas; a son, Robert Pettis Jr. of Vicksburg; a brother, Lovie Pettis of Memphis; a sister, Jewel Piazza of California; four stepdaughters, Janie Hudson of Seattle, Sylvia Whiting and Denise Bailey, both of Houston, Texas, and Toni Wilson; four grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; 27 stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives, including Ja’Keycia Johnson.
