Geraldine R. Bufkin died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at her home in Vicksburg. She was 61.

A lifelong resident of Warren County, she was formerly employed as an assistant teacher in the Vicksburg Warren School District and had also worked at Haden Hardware, Walmart and Mississippi Hardware Co. She was a member of Eagle Lake Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, James Stacy Rushing; and a sister, Norma Jean Leach.

Survivors include her husband, Luther M. Bufkin Jr. of Vicksburg; two daughters, Michelle Bufkin Wardlaw and Kimberly Bufkin Dell, both of Vicksburg; one sister, Mary Ellen Henry of Vicksburg; two brothers, Ronnie O’Quinn of Learned and Larry Wayne Traylor of Hernando; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Reggie Smith officiating. Visitation will be at Glenwood Funeral Home from 9 a.m. Saturday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Steven Cunningham, Patrick Dell, A.J. Wilkinson, Robert Bufkin, Bob Burnside and Kirby Day.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Dell, Jeff McBroom, Eddie Henry, Chris Henry and Gerald Stanley Leach.
