PICAYUNE — Linda G. Neely died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012. She was 65.

A Vicksburg native, Mrs. Neely was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Brooks Hicks and Lola Christine Irvin Hicks; her husband of 24 years, Luther Neely; and a grandson, Rocky Dale Parker.

Survivors include five daughters, Betty Brown, Carol Garrett, Jackie Penton, Stephanie Carter and Bridget Watts; a son, Jimmy Meshell; four sisters, Shirley Fayard, Christine Miller, Edith Manry and Lurline McLemore; two brothers, Monroe Hicks and Robert Hicks; and 13 grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune with Elder Tommy Hudnall officiating. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service.
