Trey and Melanie Field of Jackson announce the birth of a 6-pound, 2-ounce daughter, Mary Virginia, on Aug. 12, 2012, at Women’s Hospital in Jackson.

Maternal grandparents are Walter and Mary Hallberg of Vicksburg. Paternal grandparents are Bill and D.J. Field of Vicksburg.

Great-grandparents are Walter Hallberg Jr., Virginia Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Field Sr.
