Ivory Anderson Jr.

PORT GIBSON — Ivory Anderson Jr. died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, as the result of a gunshot wound at Claiborne County Hospital. He was 38.

Survivors include his wife, LaJuanna Anderson of Port Gibson; four sons, Jadarrius Anderson, Treymaine Anderson and Rashaad Johnson, all of Port Gibson, and Marcus Anderson of Vicksburg; three daughters, Ivyonnia Anderson and Ivi’Neshi Anderson, both of Port Gibson, and Amonie Anderson of Vicksburg; his mother and stepfather, Sarah and Willie Wilson of Byram; his father and stepmother, Ivory Sr. and Mae Anderson of Biloxi; maternal grandmother, Sarah Louisville Shelby of Lorman; a sister, Tonia Louisville Jones of Ridgeland; two brothers, Deric “Dee Dee” Anderson and Dexter Anderson, both of Port Gibson; two half-sisters, Ivynichole Anderson and Brianna Anderson, both of Port Gibson; a half-brother, Dontavious Anderson of Port Gibson; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends including Hester Martin of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Church in Port Gibson with Bishop Ronnie Crudup Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery. Visitation is today from 1 until 5 at Thompson Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service
