The Vicksburg Theatre Guild will present “Miracle on 34th Street” beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday, and co-directors Jeff Hensley and Andrea Fairchild said they are excited to bring this 1947 Christmas classic to the Iowa Boulevard stage.

“We started practicing for the production on Oct. 1 and have had three rehearsals a week,” Hensley said.

He said that more than 40 individuals auditioned for the show and many of the cast members are first-timers to the VTG stage.
