Mr. Blackmon weds Miss Lotilla on Oct. 6

Bradley Cooper Blackmon and Justine Marie Guerra Lotilla were married at 2 p.m. Oct. 6, 2012, in the chapel at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center. The Rev. Jason McGuffie of Tallulah officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Maria Elena and the late Edbert J. Lotilla of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Santiago A. Lotilla and the late Mr. and Mrs. Romeo J. Guerra.

The groom is the son of Mickey and Cynthia Blackmon of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Jack and Wilma Cooper of Vicksburg and the late Wallace and Elizabeth Blackmon.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Hans Edbert Lotilla. Her chosen colors were orange and brown.

Nuptial music was presented by Jennifer Tillotson, pianist, and Mitch Beauman, soloist.

Maid of honor was Trisha Jan Lotilla, sister of the bride, of Ridgeland. Bridesmaids were Angelia Clark of Southaven and Kristy Segree of Vicksburg.

Mickey Blackmon served as best man. Groomsmen were Joshua Blackmon of Vicksburg and Brian Caroll of Charleston, S.C.

Flower girls were Jaren Isabelle Lotilla Martinez of Ridgeland and Allison Desiree Blackmon and Madisyn Claire Blackmon, daughter of the groom, both of Vicksburg. Ring bearer was Jackson Ray Blackmon of Vicksburg.

Special wedding assistant was Alisha Desire Blackmon of Vicksburg.

A reception followed at the center. For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Hawaii.

They will make their home in Vicksburg. The bride is employed at the Gap Outlet, and the groom is employed at Electro Mechanical Solutions Inc.

Showers

Shannon Barnard, Sue Bishop, Karen Causey, Miki Ginn, Sharon Hodnett, Debbie Jones and Sally Porter hosted a shower at the Porter home in Valley Park.

Members of the Hall Sunday school class hosted a shower at the home of Jack and Wilma Cooper of Vicksburg.
