For the second year, “The Forgotten Carols” will be back in Vicksburg Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Vicksburg Auditorium.

Produced by Emmy-award winner Michael Young, the program tells the story of a young nurse who has grown dismissive of the holiday season.

However, she is assigned to care for an old man claiming to have been alive for 2,000 years and to have met Joseph, Mary and other central figures in the Christmas story.
