Deanna Burke and her daughter, Cammi Keller, a sophomore at Warren Central High School, fill out paperwork Tuesday afternoon to adopt an angel at the Salvation Army Angel Tree at Vicksburg Mall. The program, which sponsors aid for unidentified needy children and seniors, has trees — with information about the participants attached — at the mall, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District, Trustmark Bank on Halls Ferry Road, Walmart and the Salvation Army Citadel on Mission 66. The deadline to deliver the goods for the “angels” is Dec. 8.
