Linda Fondren, owner of Shape Up Sisters in Vicksburg, has been selected by the Annenberg Foundation’s Board of Directors to participate in the Annenberg Alchemy’s specialized course for CNN Heroes.

This course allows for executive development and subsidized grant-writing training for nonprofit organizations.

The Annenberg Foundation is a family group that provides funding and support to nonprofit organizations in the United States and globally.

Fondren was named a CNN Hero in 2010 for her fight against obesity in Mississippi.
