YAZOO CITY — William Henry Rhoads, 76, of Holly Bluff, passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at his home.

Mr. Rhoads was a farmer for many years. He was a member of Holly Bluff Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Kelly Rhoads of Yazoo City; daughter, Renee Rhoads Caruthers of Vicksburg; granddaughters, Jessica Sullivan, Bree Rhoads, Ava Rhoads, and grandson Rhoads Caruthers; great-granddaughter Taylor Sullivan; sisters, Hester Hill of Huntsville, Ala., Wilma Pugh of Fountain, Colo., and Martha Mobley of Vicksburg.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Owen Darrington Rhoads; sister, Hattie Ray Barrett; and granddaughter, Morgan Caruthers.

Services for Mr. Rhoads will be Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Stricklin-King Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday before the funeral.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
