Porters Chapel’s early-season struggles continued Monday night.
The Eagles only managed two hits — one each by Booth Buys and Peyton Guider — and suffered their fourth consecutive loss to open the season, 10-1 to Central Hinds.
Central Hinds scored four runs in the bottom of the first and two more in the second to blow it open early. It was the third time in four games that PCA has allowed 10 runs or more.
PCA will try to right the ship tonight when it faces Tri-County in its home opener at 6 p.m.
