Kangaroo cashier released on embezzlement charge

A Vicksburg woman accused of taking money from a local convenient store was free on bail this morning.
Shaquayla Williams, 22, of Mississippi 3, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. Monday at the Kangaroo on Indiana Avenue and charged with embezzlement, said Vicksburg Police Criminal Analyst Judy Stubbs.
Williams posted $5,000 bail and was released on Tuesday.
