Clottie Allison died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at River Region Medical Center. She was 88.

Mrs. Allison was born on Sept. 10, 1925, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Sim and Bessie Putman. She was an usher at New Mount Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rose Lee Harris Taylor; sisters, Alberta Batte, Annie Mae Magee, Mattie Schler, Josie Brown, Marie McCombs, Ada Gaines, Marlie Atkins, Bertha Lewis; one brother, Fred Putman; granddaughter, Clottie Lee Harris; grandson, Solomon Harris; great-grandson, David Becker; and great-granddaughter, Tilian Becker.

Survivors include 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins andother relatives and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at New Mount Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Virdell Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. with the family present from 5 to 6 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
