A Vicksburg man accused of drug possession was held without bail this morning.
John David White, 29, who lives on Cherry Street, was arrested at about 10:20 p.m. Wednesday by patrolman Robert Jobe and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, Vicksburg police Lt. Sandra Williams said.
White is accused of having several pharmaceuticals for which he did not have a prescription, Williams said.
He was held in the Issaquena County Correctional Facility this morning awaiting his initial court appearance.
