Warren Central to host St. Aloysius tonight

A rainout and an unexpected schedule change helped to create an impropmtu matchup of two Warren County teams with championship aspirations.
St. Aloysius will visit Viking Field tonight at 7 to take on Warren Central in a game added to the schedule this morning, WC coach Conner Douglas said.
The teams were originally supposed to play on April 26, but Warren Central (17-5) will be involved in a first-round Class 6A playoff series that day.
WC also had a hole in its schedule from this week’s rain. It was scheduled to play at division opponent Greenville-Weston tonight, but that game has been postponed and no makeup date has been set.
St. Al, meanwhile, is slowly filling in what had been a nine-day gap in its schedule. The Flashes will play twice this week — tonight at WC, then Saturday at Bazinsky Field at 2 p.m. against division rival Bogue Chitto — after originally having off from April 12 to April 21.
St. Al (10-6) can clinch the Division 7-1A title by beating Bogue Chitto.
