Paul Richards, a civil engineer with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District, has returned from a nine-month deployment to Kabul, Afghanistan, in support of Overseas Contingency Operations.
During his tour, Richards served as a project engineer in the Kabul Area Office and was responsible for contract administration and quality assurance for 16 projects valued at over $200 million for the Afghan National Army, Kabul Afghanistan International Airport, and the Ministry of Interior Afghanistan.
He is a civil engineer in the technical support branch at the Vicksburg District. A native of Vicksburg, he has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University.
Lydia Moore, health and wellness coordinator for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi, will be the
speaker for the monthly Mississippi River City Chapter of the Public Relations Association of
Mississippi noon Monday River Region Medical Center.
Moore is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She joined BCBSMS in 2010.
