Man held in abduction

A Vicksburg man accused of abducting a child was held without bail this morning.

Kevin Buck, 27, 20 Waterwell Road, was arrested at about 10:55 a.m. Wednesday and charged with kidnapping, Vicksburg police Lt. Sandra Williams said.

Buck is accused of abducting a 2-month-old child from his ex-girlfriend’s home in the 200 block of Bayou Boulevard, Williams said.

Buck was arrested at 10:55 a.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Standard Hill Road. The child was not injured, Williams said.

When he was arrested, Buck told police the child was his.

In addition to Buck’s felony charge, both he and the ex-girlfriend were charged with misdemeanor domestic violence, Williams said.

Buck was held without bail this morning in the Issaquena County Correctional Facility.

 

Two held for probation, drug court

Two Warren County women were held without bail this morning for violations of court sentences.

Annie Davis, 23, 2501 Franklin St., Apt. B, was held for a probation violation, and Alisa Burnside, 19, 200 Leland Drive was held for a drug court sanction, according to Warren County Jail records.
