Annie Laura Conrad Williams

Annie Laura Conrad Williams died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015. She was 91.
Born in Flora, Ms. Williams was a longtime resident of Vicksburg. She was the daughter of the late Jones A. Conrad and Ella Gray Conrad.
Annie and Percy Williams owned and operated Williams County Store in the Culkin community for a number of years. She was an active member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, where she was a passionate cook.
Survivors include her son, David Cecil Williams (Christine); one sister, Emily Knight, of Utica; four grandchildren, Shawn Williams (Vickie), Suzanne Williams Jackson (Daryl), Kerry Howell, and Angie Howell; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her husband, Percy Williams, and two brothers, Kirk Conrad and Jones “Junior” Conrad.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2015 at Riles Funeral Home, with Mr. Donnie Cane officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Monday until the hour of service. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Williams Family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Dr. Walter Johnston for his care of Mrs. Williams; caregivers Mattie Brown and Nadine Carter; the Heritage House staff, nurses and caregivers. Thanks also Hospice Advantage staff, nurses and caregivers.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Williams, Kaleb Williams, Michael Kinsley, Douglas Dick, Larry Allen, Danny Ray Knight, and Keith Keller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Eva Allen, Cathy Keller, Jeannie Dick, and Terry Gray (Bobbie), Donna K. Mobley, Mike Mobley and Retha Cain.
